Design of Vacuum Post‐Drying Procedures for Electrodes of Lithium‐Ion Batteries

چکیده

In order to reduce the residual moisture in lithium-ion batteries, electrodes and separators need be post-dried prior cell assembly. On an industrial scale, this is often conducted batch-wise vacuum ovens for larger electrode separator coils. Especially electrodes, corresponding post-drying parameters have carefully chosen sufficiently without damaging sensitive microstructure. This requires a fundamental understanding of structural limitations as well heat transfer water mass transport The aim study establish general process Moreover, targeted design efficient, well-adjusted application-oriented procedures coils on basis modelling employed, while keeping intensity low possible, maintain microstructure save time costs. way, comparatively short moderate 2-phase procedure successfully designed practically applied. results show that able significantly anode cathode coils, even with greater lengths coating widths, deteriorating electrodes.
